Law via the Internet

The Journal of Open Access to Law (JOAL) was established within the Free Access to Law Movement (FALM), which promotes free and open access to legal information worldwide. FALM is founded on the principles of the Montreal Declaration on Free Access to Law, affirming that public legal information is part of the common heritage of humanity and should be accessible to all. The Movement also organizes the international conference series “Law via the Internet” (LVI), a leading venue for discussing developments in open legal data and access to law.
